CS-Cart

Prerequisites

  • A working CS-Cart installation 4.11.1+ (tested with CS-Cart 4.14.x)
  • An API key from seven

Installation

    Download

    Download the latest version as a *.ZIP archive.

    Add Add-on

    Open your CS-Cart administration, go to Add-ons → Manage add-ons and click on the + symbol.

    Upload and Install Add-on

    The Upload & install add-on window should appear. Click on Local, select the downloaded *.ZIP file from your computer, and press Upload & install.

Setup

    Open Settings

    Go to Administration → Send SMS → Settings.

  2. 2

    Enter API Key

    Enter your API key from your seven developer dashboard.

  3. 3

    Save

    Click on 'Save' to confirm the entries.

How do you send SMS?

This add-on offers several options for sending SMS to your customers.

Send test message

    Test message

    Go to Administration → Send SMS → SMS test.

  2. 2

    Fill in the form

    Fill out the form and send it off.

Send SMS after changing the status of an order

  1. 1

    Manage message templates

    Click on 'Message templates' in the 'Manage' window.

    Select template

    Activate the checkbox of the message you want to send and customize the template.

Send bulk SMS

  1. Go to Administration → Send SMS → Bulk SMS.
  2. Fill out the form

Send SMS to customer linked to an order

  1. Go to Administration → Orders → Show orders
  2. Load an order by clicking on 'Order number'.
  3. Click on the 'Add-ons' tab, fill in the SMS form and click on 'Send SMS'.

Message history

You can find an overview of sent messages under Management → Send SMS → SMS logs.
